Co-Founder, sustainability & operations lead at yo-waste with a passion for zero waste communities. Gideon runs the daily operations of the business & ensuring the company meets it's eliminating waste mission targets.

Rogers kibuule handles customer acquisition, hauler partnerships & engagements.

Brenda is Yo-Waste Co-Founder and handles finance & business transactions.

Backend programmer on the Yo-Waste Engineering team. He has a background in software engineering from Makerere University.

Bosa Benjamin handles debt collection and customer support at Yo-Waste.

Oboth Abel is a frontend Engineer who builds and maintains the yo-waste cloud based platform. He has background in computer science from Makerere University.

An Associate Professor of Computer Science and the Chair of the Department of Computer Science at Makerere University. His research focuses on Computer Science-driven solutions to the prevailing world challenges. He is particularly committed to creating technological innovations for social impact.

Holds an MBA from MIT. Jezze Jao works with Google.

Master's student in Urban Planning and Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan, focused on sustainable transportation and urban development.

Shova is working to build a world with sustainable waste management. She serves on Yo-Waste’s Advisory Board, most recently helping develop the school's pilot program in Kampala. She is a Sustainability Specialist at the San Mateo County Office of Sustainability in Silicon Valley, California.
